In response to the catastrophic destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, we decided to activate a special fundraiser exclusively in support of animals within the affected region. Here is a report on the donation’s impact.
We are happy to announce that we raised €1,000 with our Kakhovka fundraiser.
Due to the catastrophic flooding of the destroyed Kakhovka Dam in Ukraine, we decided to activate a special fundraiser exclusively for the support of animals within the affected region.
For this occasion, we donated 100% of all profits made between June 4 and June 14, 2023, to “Animal Rescue Kharkiv” — a Ukrainian non-profit organization dedicated to saving animal lives from emergency situations.
Since its establishment in 2016, the organization managed to save over 10,000 pets from high-risk areas and settlements amidst Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. About 100 animals were rescued by the organization after the breakdown of the Kakhovka Dam — rescue operations are still taking place every week. The animals from the affected area are all undergoing health care, rehabilitation, and preparation for adoption.
While the happenings in Kherson region keep being more than devastating, it is inspiring to feel the impact of united, loving people coming together to support throughout serious commitment.
